Installation
- Drain and clean cooling system
- Cust and remove 1” section from the lower radiator hose at a point close to the water pump that will accept the heater. Make certain that the heater has a ride towards the water pump. Install with cap down at 5-7o’clock position and element pointing towards engine block.
- Rum cord through grill and secure making dure it is clear of all moving or heated parts.
- Refill cooling system, start engine and check for leaks.
- Before energizing heater, all air must be bled out of the system by running the engine until internal thermostat opens. Continue to run the engine for 30 minutes to eliminate all air pockets.
- Connect to properly grounded power source to check heater operation.
