Instructions for operating and installing
- Measure the Dipstick: Ensure that 4 inches of the heater is submerged in the oil
- Replace the Old Stick: Remove the old dipstick and replace it with the KAT’S Oil Heater. The flexible design of the heater will conform to most curves in the existing opening
- Connect the Heater: Plug the oil heater into a 120-volt outlet and operate it overnight. It’s essential to start using the oil heater while the engine is still warm. Before closing the hood, check the heater’s clearance to ensure it’s not in contact with the hood, and make sure no wires or cables touch the heater.
- Remove and Clean the Heater: Before starting your engine, remove the oil heater. After each use, wipe the heater clean of oil and sludge to help extend its lifespan.
